Capital Founders gift from John Q. Hammons enabled KOZK to qualify for an educational facilities grant from the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. Mr. Hammons, a Springfield resident and native of Southwest Missouri, has long been interested in education.

The William T. Kemper Foundation/Commerce Bank, Trustee provided funding for the replacement of broadcast transmission equipment. KODE-TV has provided tower/transmitter space and operational assistance for KOZJ/26 since 1986. KY3, Inc. donated an 1891 foot tower to Missouri State for OPTV's use to transition to digital broadcasting.

The C.W. Titus Foundation provided significant financial support for the master control facility at Missouri State.The Foundation's support prepared master control for the transition to digital broadcasting with state-of-the-art equipment.
