Ozarks Public Television presents a special virtual screening and panel discussion commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 7:00-9:00 PM.
This special event features screenings of American Experience: The Vote – Chapter 1 and American Experience: The Ongoing Battle to spark discussion on the women’s suffrage movement and the challenges we still face today. Then hear from local historians and community leaders as they answer your questions about the movement and discuss current issues related to voting rights.
This is a free virtual event, but registration is required. Once registered, we’ll send you a reminder email with a link to access the virtual event via our online platform, OVEE.
