Roots & Relics may be photographed and filmed for a future television episode and related promotional materials. By attending, you consent to the use of your image, voice, and likeness by Ozarks Public Television in program content, marketing materials, social media, and other communications related to the event.
Appraisal Guidelines
- When purchasing an Appraisal Admission ticket, guest will be asked to submit one or more photos of the item they plan to bring, along with a brief description.
- Appraisal Admission tickets include one appraisal item per guest.
- Appraisals will be limited to 5 minutes.
- Appraisal items must be easily carried into the venue by the participant and must fit comfortably on a standard cocktail table.
- Appraisals are limited to five minutes per item.
- Appraisals are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered formal valuations, insurance appraisals, or offers to purchase. Ozarks Public Television and its appraisers make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of opinions expressed during the event.
- Items not accepted for appraisal include firearms, weapons, live animals, vehicles, and oversized items that cannot be safely carried by the attendee or displayed on a standard cocktail table.
- Photography, audio recording, and video recording will occur throughout the event. By attending Roots & Relics, participants grant Ozarks Public Television permission to use their image, likeness, voice, and comments in television programming, promotional materials, websites, social media, and other marketing or educational content without compensation.
The Appraisal Process
To help guests spend more time enjoying the event and less time waiting in line, appraisal appointments will be assigned on-site throughout the day.
- Visit the Appraisal Welcome Table upon arrival to check in and register your item.
- You'll receive an appraisal ticket indicating your appraisal category and approximate appointment window.
- Enjoy the event, workshops, demonstrations, and exhibits while you wait for your scheduled appraisal time.
- When your appointment window arrives, proceed to the appraisal room and locate the category listed on your ticket.
- Volunteers will assist you and direct you to the next available appraiser.
Important Notes
- Roots & Relics is a drop-in event. Appraisal appointment windows will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis at check-in.
- We recommend arriving early for the greatest selection of appointment times.
- While we will make every effort to accommodate guests who arrive slightly early or late, missed appraisal appointments cannot be guaranteed.
- No advance appraisal appointments are available.

Workshops
In addition to appraisals, guests with either an Appraisal Admission or General Admission ticket are invited to attend a series of educational workshops throughout the day.
All workshops are approximately 30 minutes long and will run on a rotating schedule, allowing guests to attend multiple sessions during the event. Workshop seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with admission beginning at the listed start time for each session.

During this relaxed Expert Meet & Greet, attendees can connect directly with our experts, ask questions, and enjoy meaningful discussions about antiques, collectibles, craftsmanship, and preservation.
Allison Taylor
Appraiser, Allie's Antique Appraisals
As the founder of Allie's Antique Appraisals, she is a certified AIA appraiser with over 35 years of hands-on experience under her belt. Her obsession with old treasures began at nineteen, hunting through the flea markets, tag sales, and antique shops of East Texas. Now living in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas, she happily serves local and global clients with deep knowledge, integrity, and enthusiasm for all things vintage. Her love for history spills over into her personal life, where she proudly juggles being a fine art collector and a self-proclaimed book hoarder.
Timothy Seiffert
