This hourlong documentary from Ozarks Public Television documents the decline of Route 66 and the livelihoods and experiences lost along the highway... but it also explores the next generation of entrepreneurs, adventurers, and preservationists breathing new life into the old road.

Free Public Documentary Screening

Celebrate 100 years of America’s most iconic highway with a special FREE event at the Historic Fox Theatre! As part of the National Route 66 Centennial Kickoff Celebration, we invite you to an exclusive premiere screening of a brand-new documentary from filmmaker Nico Burasco and the talented team at Ozarks Public Television, exploring the rich history and culture of the tri-state Route 66 corridor.

Following the screening, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session, offering behind‑the‑scenes insight into the creative process and the stories uncovered along the Mother Road.
