Missouri State University Baseball - A Winning Tradition

In 1964, football and basketball dominated the sports scene at what was then Southwest Missouri State College. That year a new sports program would take the field and become an instant hit. Athletic Director Aldo Sebben appointed Bill Rowe, as the team's first baseball coach. In just five short seasons Coach Rowe would have his team competing in the NCAA Division II College World Series. Since then, the program has produced 33 All-Americans, 17 major leaguers, five MLB first-round draft picks and three World Series Champions.

Ozarks Public Television explores the history of the MSU Baseball program, highlighting the coaches, players and administrators who have made the program a jewel on the baseball diamond.
